Optaros by MRM//McCann is the e-Commerce offering for MRM//McCann. Whether it’s e-Commerce strategy, interactive and visual design or technical development, we are the trusted e-Commerce partner to enable client’s businesses goals and solve complex problems through technology. We create useful, frictionless, and personalized e-Commerce sites that deliver on our client’s brand promise and optimize their business throughout the customer experience in order to ensure meaningful transaction.


The Business Director will manage a portfolio of clients for Optaros and will focus on strategy, client satisfaction, revenue generation, and quality delivery.



  • Understand the client business, organizational structure, business goals, objectives, budgets, and road maps in order to meet and exceed client expectations
  • Focus on existing portfolio of clients, account health, and client satisfaction
  • Ultimately accountable for the Client relationship and client satisfaction
  • Strategic oversight of Project Manager and project team, project quality, and site implementations.
  • Provide team guidance, support, and course correction
  • Serve as a point of escalation for issue resolution
  • Form strong relationships with the global Client markets on a local level
  • Responsible for Quarterly Business Reviews and Annual Account Plans
  • Establish relationships with Channel Partners as assigned to the Client account
  • Client business development
  • Networking with client executives
  • Responsible for Quarterly Business Reviews and Annual Account Plans
  • Mastery of Optaros/MRM offerings in order to sell in new services, projects, and phases
  • Understanding of market trends and competitive landscape
  • Ability to utilise the broader MRM/McCann network in order to foster growth and an integrated offering
  • Maintain pipeline and forecast by leveraging Salesforce and Projector
  • Work with Marketing to create case studies and white papers


Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • Ability to work across offices and time zones seamlessly
  • Strong mastery of project financials and opportunities
  • A solid understanding and passion for all things Ecommerce
  • Ability to generate quality presentations and materials
  • Good interpersonal skills with experience interacting with executive level clients
