For those who dare to believe they can, there’s only one place to make it — New York City, where your competition is fierce — and fast. And if you’re an online gamer, being competitive means having fast internet. Yet, New York’s growing eSport community hadn’t seen speeds like Fios Instant internet before.

 

Using Xbox to introduce gamers to the fastest internet available (750Mbps), MRM//McCann New York demonstrated that connection speed is the competitive edge needed to take on the best. We created “750 Instant Drops,” the first-ever campaign launched exclusively and entirely on the Xbox console. The day before Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition’s official release, gaming pros tweeted out 750 copies to their followers. With one catch: You had to be fast.

The gamers quick enough to win a free download got the chance to use that speed against the pros in a live broadcast on Twitch. The event proved to New Yorkers that, armed with Fios speed, they have more than a fighting chance, even against the best.
