Core Duties/Responsibilities

User Experience (UX) Designer

As a UX designer on our team you will contribute to the creation of engaging digital experiences that drive value for our clients and their customers. You will work across multiple platforms, devices and industries and collaborate with a variety of teammates including fellow experience specialists, strategists, data analysts, creatives and technologists.

 What You’ll Do

  • Help research audience behaviors and needs
  • Review competitive, landscape and industry trends
  • Ideate and concept digital experiences
  • Create sketches, interaction models, user flows and more detailed wireframes
  • Prototype key ideas and interactions
  • Develop functional descriptions
  • Contribute to presentations that articulate your proposed designs and their value

 

 

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience

What You Need

  • 2+ years digital design experience or comparable relevant school experience
  • Comfort with standard UX tools and user-centered design practices
  • The ability to uncover and apply audience insights
  • Familiarity with data, analytics and technology (both front and back-end)
  • A foundational knowledge of content strategy
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Comfort with collaborating and incorporating feedback
  • An always-on desire to learn
  • A clean design aesthetic and the ability to simplify the complex

 Required Proficiencies

  • Sketch, InVision or other key drawing and prototyping tools
  • PowerPoint and/or Keynote
  • MS Office (Word, Excel)
