Is able to communicate the guidelines to relevant stakeholders and uphold them by signing off work, as well as run workshops for the team and client in order to communicate tone of voice. CREATIVE CRAFT SKILLS: Demonstrates a strong command of the structure of language, both formal and informal. Writes compelling, beautifully constructed copy for a variety of clients and audiences and across a variety of media. Able to input into the scripting and storyboarding process for film, animation or moving image content or concepts. Demonstrates a wide breadth of abilities from long form to headlines to calls-to-action to brand manifestos. Able to write with speed, consistency, accuracy and creative flair. Even under pressure and while delivering multiple projects, quality is never compromised. Demonstrates excellent grammar and spelling skills, with minimal amends from proofreading. Able to respond positively to feedback from the client and re-draft copy to meet their comments, while retaining the impact of the copy.
IDEA GENERATION: Is capable of concepting and collaborating on overall campaign ideas with a creative team while working on multiple projects, within specific deadlines and prioritizing tasks for each. Ideates based on simple human truths or observations. Measures your ideas not only against high creative standards, but also against business objectives.
LEADERSHIP: Takes personal accountability for on-time deliverables. Is a leader within the agency, providing a significant contribution to the development of client relationships.
NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: Takes responsibility for the creation of award entries and case studies of key projects. Contributes to the ideas and creative work for pitches as well as helps craft the copy for any presentations or documents.
MENTORING: Assists and guides less experienced Copywriters and other members of the Creative department in their professional development and guides the team and client on tone of voice if feedback directly contradicts the guidelines.
