Core Duties/Responsibilities


MRM has developed a project intake and management tool that is used by both clients and agency personnel to initiate marketing automation execution orders. The tool has a custom web front-end based on the Angular 2 framework, and connects to a back-end project management tool via web service/API calls. The current project management tool is Workfront. The integrated platform is called MRM Works.

The position of Product Manager, MRM Works will be responsible for the operation of this tool, development of a product roadmap, definition and management of all maintenance and scheduled releases. The Product Manager will work with design, UX and technical disciplines within MRM to execute the roadmap. The Product Manager will also work with both client stakeholders and MRM stakeholders to ensure the smooth adoption and operations of the tool.

The Product Manager also works closely with the role of User Management Coordinator, which is a role that manages all user licensing and provisioning for MRM Works as well as other internal and client-facing tools.


Key Accountabilities:

MRM Works planning, scoping, monthly maintenance, and quarterly releases. New client rollout and support, as well as overall new client strategy (Workfront and MRM Works). Responsible to provide client support for MRM Works and underlying applications. Also, responsible for the MRM Works overall strategy, planning, and product roadmap going forward. Work with the User Management Coordinator to maintain accurate user access records.

Specific Tasks:

  • Develop and manage a product roadmap for MRM Works and all integrated products
  • Backlog management, communication, prioritization
  • Budget management
  • Manage all monthly maintenance updates and product enhancement releases
  • Manage regular stakeholder meetings (Agenda, Tracker, Scheduling, etc.)
  • Manage and track MRM Works Help Tickets (Training Enhancement Requests,  Bug Reports, Tech Support)
  • Manage and track MRM Works product enhancement requests
  • Provide onboard training for new users (MRM Works and Workfront)
  • Provide product change control management
  • Coordinate with IT regarding infrastructure maintenance and patch application
  • Coordinate with QA regarding release testing and certification


Education and Experience Requirements:


  • Product Management Experience: 3+ years. Demonstrable experience with creating and managing product roadmaps, product enhancement backlogs, product change request processes, sprint definition, scoping and management, release management
  • Web development experience: 3+ years or equivalent levels of experience. This may be in the form of developer, development manager, or technical project manager
  • Demonstrable expertise with the following project management tools: Workfront and Jira/Confluence
  • Technical Project Management: 3+ years or equivalent level of experience
  • Client and Stakeholders Communications: Must be articulate and able to communicate roadmap plans, release status information, and other product information to a wide variety of stakeholders including clients and internal agency owners.
