Core Duties/Responsibilities




We are looking for Director of Program Management who will lead our local partnership with our offshore operations centers in Buenos Aires and Bucharest.  This critical role will leverage data to make strategic recommendations regarding offshore operations, consult with business and discipline leads to drive change in behavior, staff & structure or the quality of our work products.  Ultimately, serve as the Detroit subject matter expert on optimizing this strategic partnership. 


Primary Responsibilities

Offshore Production Leadership

  • Develop and strengthen the relationship and trust between local and offshore offices
  • Create or optimize KPI’s for the health of offshore operations. Setup systems to track, monitor and analyze work performance
  • Develop an Onshore/Offshore reporting cadence for executive leadership and business teams that includes the following
    • Risk, issues and mitigation plan(s) within the production operations space
    • Operational KPI, brand goals and improvement plans
    • Resource management, capacity or staffing optimization
  • Identify production process gaps or improvement plans, serve as point of escalation
  • Ensure offshore locations are aligned to production processes
  • Overall communication filter to BA
  • Offshore production advocacy
    • Best practices for working with offshore teams
    • Promoting “one team” nature of work
    • Promoting integration on teams that lack it

Technology Resource Management

  • Identify and qualify resource needs for the technology group. Work with cross functional teams to confirm resources or gaps
  • Serve as network point of contact that will provide opportunities for our staff, channel requests offshore or explore 3rd party options (contract, freelance) to fill needs


Secondary Responsibilities

  • Agency or project management onboarding which could include
    • Onboarding of new agency personal to the way we work both locally and offshore
    • Lead transition teams for new client onboarding opportunities
    • Key project reviews and production triage
    • Provide training on MRM tools and process
  • Participate in new business or client pursuits, such as coordinating RFP responses or content development
  • Develop processes, best practices, templates and guidelines to maximize effiencicy
  • Leverage data and insights to drive change, develop POV’s or create opportunities


Education and Experience:

  • 12+ years’ experience in Program, Operations or Digital Technology Management
  • Relevant experience in building or leading offshore or remote teams
  • Demonstrate sharp strategic thinking and effective problem solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, Clients, and agency partners
  • Bachelor’s degree required, masters a strong plus
  • PMP or other operational/organizational certifications (such as ITIL, Six Sigma, Agile) a strong plus
