Core Duties/Responsibilities

The Management Supervisor is responsible for the successful strategic evolution and client relationship of a Line of Business (LOB). This is a strategic role with team mentoring responsibilities, mid-level client nurturing and financial responsibility.

Project Management

  • Writes contact reports
  • Manages a LOB and ensures it is delivering against outlined scope

Team Management

  • Resolves client conflict
  • Mentors junior staff
  • Collaborates with team to form an agency opinion

Client Management

  • Assists with strategic client negotiations
  • Presents written POVs and/or presentations
  • Works with mid-level clients on a daily basis

Financial Management

  • Works with finance on a monthly basis to manage invoicing; which jobs to close & invoice, proportional performance, assistance on obtaining payment
  • Manages burn reports – responsible for monitoring time posted to jobs and works with agency team to advise of available time & time transfers
  • Resolves financial conflicts for responsible programs
  • Resolves estimate conflicts with clients and/or assists junior staff in resolving these

Strategic Leaderships

  • Proactively thinks about the LOB
  • Does not wait for a client “order”; rather, proactively identifies opportunities
  • Significant contributor to account planning
  • Manages internal Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
  • Assists in the development of plans to execute against strategy
  • Understands client’s strategy and the plans to achieve it



  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field preferred
  • 7+ years of Advertising experience required
  • SME in Digital Marketing
  • CRM knowledge a must
  • Site Development
  • Ability to manage up and down internally
  • Demonstrated accountability for agency performance
  • Ability to identify opportunities and formulate plans to manage them
  • Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor team members
