Core Duties/Responsibilities

MRM//McCann is looking for a User Interface Architect to assist in the build of rapid prototype development for front-end systems for our clients. You will be expected to work closely with other UX experts and be the technical voice for your project team. It will be your responsibility to discover problems before they exist, and find creative solutions to solve each problem with technology. The UX Interface Architect is expected to code using object-orientated techniques and is up to speed with current development techniques and trends. You will play an integral role in the architecture, design and development of enterprise level web applications, and work with the latest technologies in a highly collaborative environment. S/he should have an aptitude for learning and always improving current designs and architectures.

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience

• Solid knowledge of web technologies especially JavaScript, HTML / CSS
• Demonstrated experience with some back-end logic, PHP, JAVA, Ruby, C++, .NET
• Understanding of REST API Architectures, XML / JSON / AJAX
• Strong attention to detail – functionally, technically and creatively
• Experience with Progressive Enhancement and Responsive Design methodology
• Working knowledge of PatternLab (mustache, boilerplate, compass, less, sass)
• Working knowledge of preprocess task runners (bower, gulp, grunt)
• JavaScript Frameworks (backbone, angular, underscore, jquery)
• Hi-Fidelity prototypes
• Knowledge of human gestures and interactions
• Experience with component architecture
• Experience working with user research teams
• Experience with version control (SVN or GIT)
• Experience developing solutions for complex and unusual technology challenges
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Maintain open lines of communication relating to the status of a given projects and its risks and challenges
• Collaborates with team members to implement the best use of code
• Client management experience is a plus
• Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or enterprise level CMS equivalent expertise
