Core Duties/Responsibilities

Job Title: Manager, Search Linguistics

 

About this role: This is a great opportunity to join a young, but growing Search Marketing team at a cutting edge, digitally focused agency. The Manager is responsible for day-to-day oversight, management, and holistic search engine performance (SEO & PPC) on multiple accounts. You will also be charged with mentoring, coaching and leading some of the junior staff.

You have extensive experience in search marketing strategy and the day-to-day management of SEO and PPC for global clients. You are analytically driven. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day search marketing operations for multiple clients, including but not limited to:
    • keyword and linguistic research
    • planning, strategy, implementation
    • campaign optimization
    • ad copy writing
    • reporting and analysis
    • website and content optimization
    • consulting
  • Lead and manage a team of junior search analysts
  • Manage publisher and vendor relationships
  • Strengthen client relationships
  • Monitor client, competitor and industry changes
  • Lead search work on new business pitches

 

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience

Requirements:  

  • Minimum 5 years of search marketing experience, in both SEO and PPC
  • Mentorship, coaching and personnel-management experience
  • Expert in AdWords and Bing Ads
  • Experience in Marin, Kenshoo, DoubleClick or other bid management tools
  • Experience in SEO technologies such as Searchmetrics, BrightEdge, SEMrush, MOZ and Screaming Frog,
  • Passionate about holistic search marketing
  • Strong math skills
  • Strong Excel and Power Point skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Talented presenter
