Core Duties/Responsibilities

 

Job Title: SEM Analyst

 

About this role: This is a great opportunity to join a young, but growing Search Marketing team at a cutting edge, digitally focused agency. The SEM Analyst is responsible for oversight, management, and performance on one of our B2B clients’ paid search accounts.

 

About you: You have extensive experience in the day to day management of paid search campaigns for global clients. You are a passionate marketer, but optimizing bids gets you excited to start your day. You have a work hard, play hard personality who will take on any challenge and celebrate once success has been achieved. You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and can handle change and challenges as they come.

Responsibilities:

  • Support SEM planning, strategy, implementation, and optimization for global B2B client
  • Daily bid management and optimization
  • Keyword research
  • Ad creative writing
  • Synchronization with SEO efforts to optimize channel performance
  • Publisher and vendor relationship management
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Support for ad hoc client reports and analyses
  • Monitoring client, competitor and industry changes

 

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience

Requirements:  

  • Minimum 1.5 years of paid search experience using Adwords
  • Passionate about SEM/PPC
  • Strong math skills
  • Strong excel skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Team player

Nice-to-haves:  

  • B2B Experience
  • Marin, Kenshoo, or other bid management software experience
  • Bing Ads and Yahoo Gemini experience
  • Google Adwords certification
  • Tableau and PowerPoint experience
