Core Duties/Responsibilities


The Quality Assurance Analyst reports to the QA Manager and is responsible for managing individual projects and tasks assigned to them that enter the QA pipeline.


The Quality Assurance Analyst is a critical role within the QA team and responsible for having a comprehensive understanding and practicing all QA processes within the discipline. It is also critical that this role provide feedback to the QA Manager frequently on the overall health and effectiveness of established processes and issues related to specific projects in the pipeline.



  • Solid understanding of each process provided by QA discipline to the agency and its clients; and can articulate and champion the need to follow these processes to other teams throughout the agency
  • Able to manage projects and tasks assigned them independently through the QA pipeline
  • Able to work collaboratively across disciplines and build relationships with key project stakeholders
  • Works closely with Development team to ensure issues and defects are properly communicated, escalated and assigned using Jira and frequent interaction
  • Participates in QA sprints as QA Lead for assigned projects and/or tasks
  • Assists in defining, generating, refining and socializing QA-related metrics specific to projects assigned them
  • Able to quickly learn and utilize automation scripts and processes for greater efficiency with the QA team


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related preferred
  • Experience in testing digital deliverables in an agency environment
  • Experience in performance/stress testing
  • Experience in Agile iterative testing
  • Experience in automation engineering and testing a plus
  • Strong customer focus and passion for doing what’s right for the client
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills
  • Great organizational skills and an eye for details
  • Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Is data driven and able to work against clear, measurable goals
  • Is innovative, can simplify, and has relentlessly high standards
  • Has experience and conviction around measures to quantify quality of digital deliverables



  • 2+ years of digital/web Quality Assurance
  • 2+ years working in the advertising industry or related field preferred
