About the Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Content Strategist who can set the direction for multiple strategy projects. As part of the Experience Strategy team, you’ll set the direction and identify opportunities for creating great experiences and great content. When it comes to background, you may approach content from a technical, usability, or editorial perspective.


We’re looking for a holistic thinker who’s just as comfortable building applications and website interfaces as planning editorial strategies.

 If your background is in writing, editing, or planning digital content, that’s great. If you have experience creating strategies and prototype content for applications and web interfaces, that’s even better.




  • Perform content discovery and analysis for both large and small projects. This will include content audits, inventories, competitive analyses, and other tactics.
  • Develop and contribute to editorial and user interface strategy guidelines.
  • Create meaningful, helpful strategy/experience briefs.
  • Build messaging architectures and content plans such as calendars or content matrices.
  • Lead others in the use of plain language through editing and coaching.
  • Lead workshops and creative exercises.
  • Draft, write and edit prototype content for websites and applications.
  • Document current content processes and workflows and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with account, creative, user experience, product management and other teams at our agency and our clients.
  • Participate in the daily work of managing our clients’ digital properties throughout the digital lifecycle.




Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience


Education and Experience:


  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Five-to-seven years of relevant professional experience working with digital content, applications or mobile products.
  • A portfolio of sample deliverables that represent various phases of the content lifecycle.
  • Be willing to roll up your sleeves. You should know the best strategic approach and then help us and our clients get it done.
  • Have empathy for customers and an understanding of customer experience methodologies such as journey maps and personas.
  • Stellar writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Familiarity with search engine optimization, analytics, user experience, user interface design, and an understanding of how these disciplines work with content strategy.
