Core Duties/Responsibilities


Director of Digital Analytics

We are one of the largest and fastest growing integrated advertising agencies in Hong Kong and are currently seeking a Director of Digital Analytics whose responsibilities lie in 4 critical areas:


  1. The management and delivery of core SOWs related to client engagements hosted within this digital analytics team
  2. The management and development of all analysts working within this team including creating and ensuring development paths have been created for all team members
  3. Identification of prospective growth, whether that be organic or net new growth to the business
  4. P&L responsibility to senior management over committed revenue and forecasted growth and laying out the means to ensure that all measures are in place to achieve these targets



Duties include:

  • Measure, monitor & analyse the performance of across paid, owned and earned channels (i.e. websites, apps, and online marketing)
  • Define & rollout digital measurement tracking & tagging strategies that align with client’s business and marketing objectives
  • Create reports that include written and rich graphical representation of analysis, and present them to internal and Client teams (i.e. Tableau, XLS, PPT, etc); Apply insights to develop optimization and strategic recommendations
  • Lead A/B and Multi-variate tests, which require defining, trafficking, launching, & reporting (i.e. website & copy testing)
  • Account & Project management across various APAC markets to ensure timely client deliveries
  • Stay on top of digital marketing, advertising technology and analytics industry trends



Skills Requirements:

  • Must have website / digital campaign and channel measurement & optimization experience that align with client marketing & business objectives (i.e. banners, SEM / SEO, video, mobile, website, app, etc)
  • Good knowledge of tracking/tagging implementation for Omniture & GA a must. Skills in technical documentation writing appreciated (tagging specification, solution design document…). Skills in QA/Troubleshooting advantageous (understanding of data collection methods, debugging tools, mobile emulation tool, data audits…)
  • Build & design marketing performance dashboards across various datasets
  • Knowledge of test validation best practices & statistical relevance calculation methods is preferred
  • Analytics tools & software experience preferred, but not limited to:
    • Tag Management (Required) – Google Tag Manager, Tealium, or Signal, etc
    • Web Analytics (Required) – Adobe Analytics & Google Analytics (others preferred)
    • Media Analytics (Required) – DoubleClick, AdWords, Baidu (others preferred)
    • A/B Testing (Required) – Adobe Target, Optimizely, Google Experiments
    • Dashboarding (Required) – Tableau, Cliq (CliqView) (others preferred)
    • Social Analytics / Listening (Preferred) – Sysomos, BrandWatch, Crimson Hexagon
    • Heatmapping (Preferred) – Decibel Insights, ClickTale (others preferred)


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 6+ years of hands-on digital analytics, marketing & business experience
  • Data & analytical rigor & strategic thinking ability
  • Ability to learn new concepts, software applications and tools quickly
  • Experience and comfortable with managing cross cultural global client engagements & relationships on routine basis
  • Collaborate cross functionally with various departments but not limited to: marketing, brand, developers, IT, product, senior client stakeholders
  • Automotive experience a plus
  • Good planning skills – and with a well organised approach to deliverables
  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably in programming, business, mathematics, or statistics
  • Excellent English (Native); additional languages is a plus
