Position Summary:

 

The Senior Project Executive (SPE) is responsible for the execution and successful delivery of interactive, web-based projects engaged by the agency. He/she must have a thorough understanding of how to develop and deliver Web-based work including, but not limited to, websites and software applications, rich media formats and video/audio files, EDMs etc. The SPE will work along with the Business Director to develop a thorough knowledge of the client’s business. As a member of the account and project management team, the SPE is responsible for scheduling and monitoring internal agency resources and external vendor resources to make sure that they are aware of expectations and able to fulfill their roles on time and on budget. The SPE defines and is accountable for making certain that agency process and quality control requirements are met, so as to ensure that the final product is delivered on time, on budget and meets the delivery expectations of the client.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Experience in digital project management is critical as you’re to manage a wide spectrum of project deliverables.
  • Some experience in CRM will be a bonus
  • Excellent communicator who is able to articulate objectives, deliverables, milestones with both the Client as well as internal disciplines within MRM (eg Technical; Creative; UX) for developing and managing the project plan
  • Meticulous in monitoring the day-to-day activities of the account and ensure work is progressing as planned. Work with account team and be actively involved in all aspects of work.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, assets and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed upon.
  • Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across project(s) based on scope of work and project goals
  • Consistently manage client expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on client feedback.
  • Communicate and document project status and strategic recommendations to clients and team members on a regular basis; escalate issues accordingly via the appropriate channels.
  • Must understand how to analyze risk and actively use risk mitigation processes throughout the agency.
  • Handles vendor resource management and purchase orders
  • Be an exceptional team player.

Job Requirements

Exhibits good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with agency team members and the client. Must be self-motivated and willing to work extra hours and/or inconvenient times as the job requires. Must exhibit keen attention to detail, have strong organizational skills, and general-business skills. Can competently and cheerfully handle multiple priorities.

 

Education / Experience

  • 2-3 years working in the digital advertising industry or related field preferred; at least 1 year of technical project management experience 
  • Knowledge of MS Project, experience with JIRA, Trello and similar tools will be an advantage
  • Experienced in implementation of websites on at least one of the major platforms – Adobe, Sitecore or Drupal
  • Understanding of web analytics (Google/Omniture)
  • Knowledge of e-mail/scheduling software applications
  • Has an understanding of web programming languages, methods, and procedures
